Working together for the marine industry

promoting safe and efficient marine operations and developing programs to recruit and retain the workforce needed to support a vibrant marine industry
in Western Canada

ABOUT US

A united voice for the Pacific Region

The Western Marine Community was loosely formed in the mid-1990s to ensure that users of marine navigation services were not subject to costs for services provided in other parts of Canada. Since then, the coalition of marine users has continued to meet regularly to share information and advocate for improved marine services and regulations when interests are aligned.
